DIRECTIONS:

By Boat:

Battlebridge Basin is on the Regent's Canal between bridges 36 (Maiden Lane Bridge) and 37 (Thornhill Bridge). It is approximately a quarter of a mile east of St Pancras Lock (Lock 4) and a quarter of a mile west of Islington Tunnel. Entrance to the basin is on the south side of the canal mainline. Battlebridge Moorings are at the far (southern) end.

On Foot:

Entrance to Battlebridge Moorings is from Wharfdale Road. Access is via a security gate at the western end of Battlebridge Court (left as you look from Wharfdale Road). It is always best to arrange to meet someone from the moorings there to let you in, but if you are arriving unannounced, there is a bell marked "BOATS" next to the gate - ring this briefly and allow at least a minute for the entryphone to be answered.

By Public Transport:

Trains: King's Cross station is quarter of a mile away, St Pancras International half a mile, Euston three quarters of a mile.
Tubes: Six tube lines serve King's Cross St Pancras underground station - Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City.
Buses: King's Cross is served by at least 14 TFL bus routes - 10, 17, 30, 45, 46, 59, 63, 73, 91, 205, 214, 259, 390 & 476.

By Car:

The moorings have no parking. It is possible to park on the streets nearby. Restrictions apply in the area from 8:30 to 18:30 Mon - Fri and 8:30 - 13:30 Sat. During these hours, there are a limited number of metered parking spaces on Balfe St, Northdown St, Crinan St, All Saints St and New Wharf Rd among others. Maximum stay is 4 hours, current cost is £3 per hour. Outside these hours, it is possible to park in the area free of charge.
